Initially named EPI Materials Testing Group, Ethos was founded in 2002 and has steadily grown year by year.  Our clients range from global industry leaders to local specialized service companies.  We are frequently hired by litigation firms to provide support in matters tried in state and federal courts as well as in international arbitration.

Ethos specializes in Engineering Consulting Services, Forensic & Failure Analysis, Materials Characterization, Chemical Analysis and Tribology.  Our onsite capabilities allow us to respond promptly, competently, and effectively to even the most complex engineering problems. In addition to standardized testing, we provide customized testing to meet the needs of our clients. We understand that failures and problems arise unrelated to time of day. Ethos is available around the clock to provide our professional assistance.

Ethos is located in a state-of-the-art facility North of Houston that meets the many needs of our growing client base.  Our facility has a specialized layout for multi-party inspections, witnessed testing, and even industry meetings and training classes. From drilling rigs to small biomedical components, we are your engineering and testing experts!
